Breaking down the details of BTS' RM's latest music video, "LOST!" »

On May 24, the music video for the title track of “Right Place, Wrong Person,” “LOST!” ”, was published, and it quickly became the topic of conversation for several reasons. From the first seconds, the clip caught the attention of viewers and impressed them with its various intriguing details. To begin with, the music video begins with an animation.

The idol brought a feeling of completeness to the music video by starting and ending the music video with the same type of animation. People think the animation is either clay stop-motion or 3D models stylized to look like clay figurines. While this has already sparked interest in the music video, its intricacies don't end there.

In the music video, the idol is seen walking through a maze meant to represent a map of his brain. This is also mentioned in the shot where journalists are speaking. Their cups both say “Indise Namjoon” in Korean. According to netizens, it bears similarities to or is inspired by the 1967 French film “Playtime,” directed by Jacques Tati.

The story revolves around Monsieur Hulot who gets lost in a maze created by modern architecture on his way to meet an American official. As he makes his way through this labyrinth, he ends up creating chaos alongside some American tourists with whom he explores Paris.

Since “LOST!” " and "Playtime" both deal with the theme of getting lost in a maze and exploring different places with a group of people, netizens have drawn parallels between the two.

On the other hand, fans also noticed the reference to the famous Spiderman meme. This comes from the Spiderman comic where three people wearing Spiderman costumes point at each other because of their physical resemblance. RM is also seen doing the same thing in his music video for "LOST!" ". Three Kim Namjoons wearing the same beige suit point at each other.

Finally, fans were particularly impressed by the end credits. Instead of just introducing the people who worked on the music video, Idol introduced the cast and production crew in a unique way. Some items included a sheet of paper coming out of a printer, a code on a PC, a mug, and names written on the "Hello!" This is Blank*.

The end credits also hinted that the music video was shot on Kodak film and processed by CineLab. Overall, fans and netizens in general were totally impressed and moved by the music video for “LOST! ” and praised the idol endlessly for it.

When I saw the promo images for Lost, I said to myself, "I'm going to love this one in particular." There was no shortage of it, it's my favorite from the album. The music video is also incredible.
I can't wait to receive my albums (yes, I broke down and got the whole set).

RM is once again up to par both in terms of intelligence and meticulous research that necessitated this clip...the always profound lyrics make Kim Namjoon an undisputed artist and surely beyond k pop!! Too bad his own country censors half of his album...anyway ARMYs is here!! Congratulations on this nugget! I am impatiently awaiting the delivery of this beautiful album!

Jisoo ♥

I got up at 6 a.m. to see the clip and I didn't understand anything lol. But the song is incredible and as usual RM's reflection loved it.
