The associated languages ​​are currently English, Chinese and Japanese, and translation services are available in around 14 languages, including Thai and Arabic, for finding destinations and sending SMS messages. to drivers. The app is available in app stores in XNUMX countries, including the United States, Japan, Singapore and China, and is compatible with Android and Apple smartphones.

The company also plans to expand its taxi transportation service to more than 30 countries by the end of the year in order to serve a global audience. Its overseas services previously catered mainly to Korean customers traveling abroad and offered services in the Korean language, although the Kakao T app and its taxi service are available in 36 countries outside Korea.

The company also added that it would introduce enhanced tourism services, language support and global mobile payment options such as Apple Pay.
